LETS START THE SEARCH FOR OUR OBAMA IN EARNEST

Hi Kenyans both at home and in the diaspora.

This is a new blog dedicated entirely on how we can move forward in Kenya and forget what we have been subjected to by our political class for last 45 years.

I wish to welcome everybody aboard this boat of HOPE and let everyone submitt the qualities of whom we think should be our next leader. The personality of this leader should be beyond reproach and has got no smelly luggage on his back. Please lets not talk of any leader who has practised politics in Kenya for the last Five years.

I have in mind the likes of Maina Kiai's of this world and some other silent people from any region of this country who can truly inspire us and raise our patriotic feelings which have been trumpled upon for so long. Preferably the person we are looking for should be less than 50 years old. You are invited to mention names and reasons as to why you think the person fits in our kind of quality leadership. We may even vote later on in this blog and see how our proposed persons fare.

Let me pose this question? Supposing Obama was a Kenyan, whould we have elected him the way he was elected in America? IF your answer is yes, then you are the kind of a contributer I am looking forward to.
